The Three Swordsmen of Drie

Swordsmen from the sea. They have followed their twisted brother Balie to the surface and waged war on a foreign land.

I enjoyed using the new blues and greens. They complimented each other nicely.

Izanami

Yesterday I handed back to a good friend her DnD character and wonderful raging heroes model.

She was a joy to paint. She does actually have two eyes with pupils but the picture didn't come out overly well. Also, excuse the eyelash...

Undead Champion

I chopped off the Khorne insignia on his helmet to make him a generic buff enemy for the heroes to fight in DnD. 

I was inspired by my pal Kostas' Barbarians, in which he had done the same. I decided though to make this one undead and have his stomach a portal to his home plane. He uses it to feed his victims into The Hollow. Here they spend eternity lost, vacant and undying. 

The Hill Giant

Duncan Louca's hill giants are amazing. This is the second one I have painted but the first one to be based. He was a dream to paint. I never thought I would enjoy painting (or own) a naked fat anything.

He created quite the outcry in DnD and the party took pity on him. Now he works tending farmland on the coast, instead of being a mounted trophy on a wall.

Hag of the Forest

One of three hag sculpts by Duncan Louca. The file is set to be printed at 28mm but I decided to make her more imposing and instead scaled her to 60mm in height. 

The Tavern is Coming Along

With tiles from Black Scroll Games the scenery that me and Marisa have painted is really coming together. 

Apparently drinks are half price here and the Mogwai dances for gold. Now all it needs is some drink shelving instead of chests, a keg, the final bar part and some actual staff!

Rum and Bones: Chinese Female Pirates

Finished this trio today. I decided to go for an orange and green scheme as I do not tend to use orange as a colour too much. I think they turned out well.

Lo Wang: Ancient Legend and Guardian Monk

A new player joined my level 16 campaign and chose to be a goliath monk of an ancient long dead civilisation. Frozen to act as a guard for the tomb, Lo Wang was the only survivor. Discovered by the party he aided them in their greatest hour of need and later also one punched a god... yes that happened -.-'

I had no models to meet his characters description, burly, masked and uses knuckle dusters to fight. After some thought and rummaging I found this guy from one of the Age of Sigmar starter box sets. Turns out he was perfect!

Kaiba Au

I received a War Machine miniature as a stocking filler and in my frustration of gluing it, I decided  to just give her new hands. One is a zombie hand and the other a lizardman's. She stands almost double the height of a standard heroic scale figure.
